Tak dipungkiri lagi produk yang satu ini membuat kewalahan bagi pengguna win 8, sejatinya modem yang dipakai colok langsung pakai ini harus ada trik tersendiri dalam penggunaannya di win 8. untuk modem ini plug and play di win 8 menurut saya tidak berlaku.

pada saat modem ini dicolok ke port USB, hasilnya tampak seperti ini, jika anda belum install. silahkan install terlebih dahulu.

setelah dicoba untuk memasukkannya kembali, akan tampak seperti di atas. pertama yang harus dilakukan eject terlebih dahulu. hingga bunyi keluar dari speaker.

Development Release: Elive 2.3.6 (Beta)

Elive, or Enlightenment live CD, is a Debian-based desktop Linux distribution and live CD featuring the Enlightenment window manager. Besides being pre-configured and ready for daily desktop use, it also includes "Elpanel" - a control centre for easy system and desktop administration. 

Elive is a commercial distribution; while the live CD is available as a free download, those wishing to install it to a hard disk are asked to pay US$15 for an installation module.

Development Release: Elive 2.3.6 (Beta)

Samuel Baggen has announced the release of Elive 2.3.6, the latest development build of the distribution featuring a customised Enlightenment desktop, based on Debian 7.0: "Elive 2.3.6 beta released. 

This new version includes: configured network connections are now persistent on reboot for USB images; improved USB bootable image by creating a separate partition, this fixes the issue with USB images not booting on some rare computers; Elive now boots with an amazing splash theme; improved the listing of kernels on the boot screen; added MemTest86 to the boot screen; using SSH between Elive computers is now much faster. 

Note that this development release doesn't yet include the proprietary drivers (NVIDIA/ATI) for now, but the open-source drivers should detect your hardware and configure your system without problems." New Develoment Release - Fedora 21 Alpha

Dennis Gilmore has announced the availability of the much-delayed alpha release ofFedora 21. This comes almost exactly one year since the project's last alpha release - that of Fedora 20, released on 24 September 2013. From the release announcement: "The Fedora 21 Alpha release has arrived, with a preview of the latest free and open source technology under development. 

As part of the Fedora.next initiative, Fedora 21 will boast three products: Cloud, Server and Workstation. Note that for the alpha release, the network installers act as generic, 'universal' installers, offering the entire set of Fedora package groups by default, rather than only the groups associated with the product they are meant to represent.

Sharing koneksi internet dari PC menggunakan LAN ke Mikrotik merupakan topik yang akan kita bahas kali ini. Disini saya akan memberikan tutorial mikrotik indonesia tentang cara sharing koneksi wifi laptop ke Router Mikrotik via LAN. Tutorial Mikrotik disini akan saya bahas dasar nya saja, untuk selanjutnya bisa anda kembangkan sendiri. Bisa juga anda gunakan PC dengan sumber internet Modem untuk share koneksi ke Mikrotik via LAN.

Oke langsung saja kita bahas Cara Share Koneksi Internet PC ke Mikrotik via LAN (Ethernet)  :

1. Pastikan anda sudah membaca dan menerapkan tutorial sebelumnya tentang :

3. Topologi jaringannya akan seperti ini :

2.  Setelah menerapkan tutorial sebelumnya, hubungkan port Ethernet (LAN) Laptop/PC ke ether1 Mikrotik.

3. Login ke Mikrotik via Winbox

4. Kita buat DHCP Client untuk mendapatkan IP address otomatis. Masuk ke menu IP --> DHCP Client --> Buat DHCP Client baru --> interface pilih ether1 seperti gambar berikut ini :

5. DHCP client akan meminta IP Address ke PC Host

6. Mikrotik akan mendapatkan dynamic IP address secara otomatis.

7. Mikrotik juga akan mendapatkan dynamic DNS Server secara otomatis.

8. Tes koneksi dengan melakukan ping ke Google.com.

9. Sampai disini Mikrotik sudah bisa terkoneksi ke internet dari koneksi sharing dari LAN nya PC.
